Summer Wine Days is a 4 berth (2 makeup), 58ft semi-traditional stern, traditional layout narrowboat built in 2020 by XR&D Boat Builders and fitted out by Derek Walton (current owner) in 2021.
She features a traditional layout with two permanent bunk beds in the aft cabin of the boat, with direct access to the stern area from the bedroom. The bedroom also features a radiator, and storage for clothing and other items. The bathroom is appointed with a quadrant shower cubicle, macerator pump out toilet, a radiator, and vanity basin with drawer storage and a mirror unit with additional storage. The galley is well appointed with ample worktop preparation space with under counter LED lighting; a gas oven & grill, and four burner hob; a sink and drainer, and a duck hatch with steps to maximise ventilation and light. A Pullman Dinette is situated forward of the galley providing a comfortable dining experience. The dinette converts into an additional double berth, and provides under seat storage – a radiator provides heat. The saloon areas provides seating with two chairs, and a TV stand with storage. Direct access through to the bow is via the saloon bow doors; the cratch area provides access to the water point, and gas locker. Two storage locker seats are situated either side of the cratch area for extra utility, and relaxation.
