Built by Wrights of Ipswich in 1957 (the date of the serial number of the engine), Dorice is a 10ft motor launch, probably built originally for the pleasure lake at Butlins in Clacton. She has a single pot two stroke Stuart Turner R3M engine, with centrifugal clutch (only drives when revs reach a certain level), Lucas magneto ignition and banjo water pump. Dimensions are 10ft LOA, and 4’6’’ beam.
