Seapod is a 4.5m traditionally constructed Maine Peapod, built by Charlie Hussey, Marine Carpentry, in early 2008. Built of carvel construction using 1.5" Alaskan yellow cedar fastened to steamed white American oak frames with silicon bronze screws. The stems and keel are laminated Iroko. The sheerstrake is a clinker plank of European larch, which is fastened with copper rosehead mails. Thwarts, risers and sole boards are all in larch.
