Zircon is a Harrison Butler Z4 tonner ,one of the best sailing boats designed by Dr Thomas Harrison Butler . She is no 25 of the 50 or so produced and was made by Alfred Lockhart ( Marine) Ltd in Brentford in 1938/39. Zircon has enjoyed being sailed on the East coast, around Devon and Cornwall ,and more recently back in the Solent , when re-purchased after 18years ,by the present owners.
