She has a 4-cabin layout with two heads and a separate shower. The forward cabins are probably the ones with the narrowest berths. Stepping aboard this vessel she struck me as having a very solid feel about her with her heavy steel construction.
The owner is testament to her sea keeping abilities having sailed her back form Gibraltar where he first purchased her over 26 years ago along with having sailed her around the Azures, Portugal, France and the UK.

There are not many of these useful little cruisers around now. Very solidly built, a very cheap first weekend cruiser. The high prow keeps her very dry in a seaway and there is a large boat feel down below. Simple reefing when shorthanded with a lot of the power coming from the large genoa, extended with an attractive bowsprit.
Motors easily at five knots thanks to a three bladed prop, engine rebuilt in 2017.

I have to say this Westerly Conway 36 is the best one I have ever seen she has had a beautiful professional refit with no expense spared The standard of workmanship and the quality of materials used during the refurbishment are of the highest order. This Royal Huisman/Sparkman & Stephens collaboration is about as good a pedigree as you can get in my opinion. Built in aluminium, she's fitted out to race offshore with a fairly stripped out interior but really you could do anything with her. There are plenty of spars and sails and a new engine with only 7 hours run.
