Built in 1953 by Sakuth Shipyard in Germany, this stunning 17m gaff ketch (23m includes her bowsprit) really is one of the lucky ones! She has been in the care of Arctic Shipyard in Cowes who specialise in wooden ships and their refit and maintenance of her is fully documented and photographed. All the work was carried out with the plan to preserve her heritage whilst making sure that she could continue to be sailed and enjoyed by her crews for many many years to come.

SELINA KING is a Bermudan Cutter built by Harry King & Sons of Pin Mill in 1938 for the author Arthur Ransome. At 36ft, she was the largest boat commissioned by Ransome and reputed to be his favourite.
