A comfortable, sturdy, and reliable Westerly Centaur, with many upgrades made over the years – ideal for first time boat owners or families. Being a bilge keel boat capable of drying out, she is perfect for coastal cruising and exploring rivers or estuaries. I have thoroughly enjoyed many adventures on her since purchasing in December 2021 and I am reluctantly selling after a change of personal circumstances.
Anke II was built in 1976, and has had 2 previous owners. In 2012 she had her original engine replaced with a beta 20, that has been regularly serviced and is still in excellent condition. In 2016 she had her mast, boom and rigging completely replaced, including running all lines back to cockpit and a new headsail furler. In 2022 she had her original headlining stripped out and replaced as per the photos.
Equipment on board includes a Standard Horizon VHF radio, Clipper wind gauge, Stowe speed/depth gauge and a Raymarine ST1000+ tiller pilot. The galley has an ethanol burner double stove. The head is a Jabsco manual pump unit – and has been regularly serviced. Details of further maintenance and upgrades can be provided on request.
She is currently out on the hard in Bosham with the option of taking on a swinging mooring in Ichenor.
A survey carried out on purchase in 2021 can be provided upon viewing.
