Dormouse is typical of a pocket cruiser from this period. Built by Shuttlewoods in 1957 on the River Roach. A traditional carvel construction of mahogany on oak and copper fastings. Designed in 1927 for the Royal Gothenburg Yacht Club by Johan Anker, the Dragon class soon established itself as an international class, with fleets across Europe and Scandinavia. She is a very original Albatross Mk3, with the Ford 100E 39hp petrol engine. Direct drive, and a true thoroughbred sports boat.
