This vessel is based on the 'Coastworker 30' design by Bruce Roberts and the only survey is the original in 1991, which I have a copy of and has much more detail of the build. Although built as a fishing boat she has never been used as a fishing trawler. She started out life as a dive boat but the present owner has always just used it for leisure and personal fishing. This is a great example of the very popular but hard to come by, Cox 27 Family Fisher. The boat was re-fitted in 2011 and had a new 70hp Yanmar engine fitted in 1993. She is copper coated and is just about to go back into the water for the season. The owner had the boat surveyed when he bought it and there were a number of jobs that needed doing and they were all carried out by Morgan Marine prior to completion.
