This stunning little cruiser/racer is not only immaculate, but also has an impressive racing history!
International Folkboats built by Marieholms Bruk in Sweden are constructed in fibreglass with a carvel hull. The design, by Tord Sunden, is based on the Nordic Folkboat which he also designed.
Built in 1983, 'Tifano' has benefitted from a full bottom-up refurbishment in 2018, carried out by a professional boatyard, so that she can now be described as being in 'as new' condition. The inboard Volvo engine was rebuilt about 7 years ago.
'Tifano' has an IRC certificate, and is ready to go racing, but equally, she is a comfortable and safe boat for cruising. She has been the winner of many regattas in the South of France, and in 2018 won Burnham Week's prestigious Commodore's Cup!
The self-draining cockpit which has high coamings helps to keep the cockpit dry. Down below there is sleeping for four adults, provided by 2 bunks in the main cabin and a vee-berth forwards.
