71 foot, motored Butty.
Steel hull with a timber superstructure.
We have owned this vessel for 38 years and regularly docked her but are now finding it hard to find the time to look after as we should, as a result the superstructure is in need of some TLC in a few places but I am pricing it accordingly taking into account condition and mooring location.
The last docking was 2016 but we normally docked her between 4 to 6 years, when docked in 2016 we hade a full hull survey done and the few minor issues delt with.
Full survey report and photos available.
This vessel is a bit of a classic as the hull was built ‘as best as we can determine’ in about 1880 but is in a good sound state as it has been well maintained.
She is powered by a lister FR2 engine also a classic but has been a very reliable motor.
There is a Whispergen fitted but no pipe work or wiring fitted for it yet.
She is presently moored in Hertford Hertfordshire 200 yards from Hertford East Railway Station giving easy access to or from London.
This mooring is transferable with the agreement of the mooring management company and has private off-road parking, power, water, and waste disposal on site and close to plenty of local amenities.
Viewers welcome but only with prior arrangements.
