A fabulous example of a quality Motor sailor The moment I stepped onto this vessel I could see it was well loved and cared for. The previous owner was meticulous in her preparation, there is isolators for every component and virtually all systems have a redundancy. The exterior cockpit is roomy and secure, there is lashings of teak which really set her off. Inside the main cabin you get that airy feeling that can only be generated by good design and years of sympathetic improvements and modifications. Remarks : The Miller Fifer was a very successful range of motor sailers, built by James Miller and Sons of St Monance, Scotland. Millers was a long established firm passing through several generations with a proud reputation for building fine fishing boats up to 70’ or so. The yard also built a number of large yachts before the war and continued with yacht building in the 1950s and 1960s with the Fifer range. This lovely little Fisher Freeward 25 motor sailer is extremely pretty and, despite her age, I feel that she's incredibly strong and has really stood the test of time. Time is showing a little here and there - she needs a good going through, clean and some basic maintenance doing, before she heads off back to sea. She hasn't been used in a while and it shows.
