In the late 1960's two naval architects (David Freeman and Gordon Wyatt) were searching the UK for a GRP motor sailer; a boat like that of the Scandinavian designs which did both sailing and motoring properly and were frustrated that nothing matched their (fairly exacting) standards. Here we have a lovely motor sailer - a Marina 75 with a 15hp Yanmar 2YM15 diesel inboard engine (installed in 2010). The current owner has owned this boat for more than 10 years and he has really enjoyed owning her. She is believed to be a 1977 boat and was built in Finland. This is a stunning example of a Fisher 46, at the time of build they were the most luxurious of the Fisher range. This particular boat is hull no.11 and it is believed that Fairways Marine built her for the 1980 London Boatshow.
