Hull steam cleaned inside and out. MK 2 main sail and top mast and MK 1roller reefing jib giving a large sail area, both 2 years old. Iroko floor boards and engine mount and teak thwart. Drascombe Drifter - £6,950

Here is an early Drascombe Drifter. The cabin and cockpit area had rotted away and so has been completely replaced with marine ply with fibreglass covering. Repurposed Teak from an old staircase provided some of the wood, the rest is Sapele and marine ply. New steam bent Sapele Gunwales. Ideal as a trailer-sailor, drawing 18 inches or so, and is triple keeled. Norfolk Broads probably ideal, with coastal and creek cruising being great fun. The boat is ready to go on the water. 1979 Drascombe Cruiser Longboat £6,250

This Cruiser Longboat shares the same hull as the original Longboat, yet with a cabin. The Cruiser Longboat was introduced and sold side by side with the standard open boat. Introduced in 1970 and replaced in 1979 by the Coaster. This Cruiser Longboat has a small modification as the current owner added a midship helm wheel and engine controls to make it easier to handle when undertaking his research, for which he was awarded an MBE.
